Tala Chaaban, O.D.

Dr. Tala Chaaban(Sha-bon) joined the team at Family Eye Clinic in August of 2022. Her roots were established in the North Dallas area where she obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Dr. Chaaban obtained her doctorate degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. Her specialties include myopia management, fitting specialty contact lenses, including orthokeratology, glaucoma management, dry eye management, diabetic exams, and post-opertive care.

Dr. Chaaban is passionate about providing care to underserved communities. She founded the first multicultural association at her optometry school through which they were able to provide refugees with free eye exams and glasses. During her free time, she loves to try new coffee shops and restaurants, travel, and spend time with family and friends.
